Bride is Pres. & owns a Travel Agency, 2 locations.
We get a free pre-public booze-cruise on the "Quantum".
There are perks to this 40 year relationship.
She buys son Ty a Christmas gift on-board.
Disembarkment, she exits early to a Taxi for Newark Airport. Off to Cancun with a major Corporate client. I'm parked at Bayonne POD. She gave me a bunch of her clothing & stuff to take home with me including the gift.
I'm home alone and happy! First week I had to deal with putting down our Boo. Now I'm really lonely and realize I have to find the gift I've hidden.
We have a small one story house w/full basement. I've hid stuff before that I still can't find.
So I have been bearing the angst and this morning I see that she has begun wrapping presents. I snoop and find a bag with just colored tissue paper and inside is the gift!
I confessed to her tonight, I was ready to go out and buy a replacement. We had a good laugh. She had wrapped it in her used clothing. I'm not touchin that, I screw something-up, ruin a garment, NFW!
So I can sleep peacefully tonight, a great weight has been lifted. All is well! God Bless!
