When I saw the guy waving the revolver in front of what's his name I thought it was a S&W X-Frame, like maybe a .500. Don't know anything about the X-Frame, but that thing was BIG. Good riddance. I'm glad they did it themselves, although a NATO missile brought the convoy to a halt, which eventually caused someone to drag the "Great One" out of the culvert. The world, if not safe, is safer now. God bless our troops.

In the end though, I suspect that the mortal shot that ended Qaddafi's life was administered by someone loyal to him . . . so he wouldn't have to suffer through the humiliation and eventual execution by the Libyan people.

We'll probably never know fer shure, and it really doesn't matter. Now we only have to worry about the next blood-thirsty strongman who will surely rise up to assume power.

Me too. Of course we don't have the overwhelming ego that these lowlifes (Hitler, Milosevic, Hussein, Qaddafi, al-Assad, etc) possess. It's all about their ego. They don't think they can ever be defeated or unseated. It's the same type of thinking prevalent in Washington DC.
