I have done many searches on the forum and there is a lot of posts on the Model 27.... but I could not find a central post that includes history, info, and what we all like to see...PICTURES.

I will start with my 27-2. 3-1/2" barrel. It is new and unfired. Pinned and recessed. Born between 68-69. It has to be one of the prettiest and coolest revolvers out there. But that is just my humble opinion.

Here is mine I bought new around 1971. Had smith engrave my name on it etc.

Wow! Beautiful 3 1/2 inchers. I have one too. All of the 27's pictured are superb examples.
