The most beautiful of all, the queen of your dreams

When I was living in Israel for a short time my landlady was a mirror image of Sophia. Identical. Same age, and I'd bet if you put them side by side you'd have a hard time telling them apart. The resemblance was eerie, and enjoyable.

In addition to some of those already listed, a few runner-ups or maybe even equals in some cases:
Virginia Mayo
Ruth Roman
Gina Lollabrigida
Cyd Charisse
Yvonne DeCarlo
Rhonda Fleming
Marilyn Maxwell
Mara Corday
Lynn Bari

Closest I'll ever get to Sophia Loren is the NECCHI Supernova sewing machine in my collection. She was featured in the ads when it was introduced in 1954 - they were proud of their 'svelte' new design (and hers).

The same has been said many times about my wife and her resemblance to Elizabeth Taylor (the young Liz).

Not quite a Queen.

My friend at work: "You know, I should set you up with my sister. But she's probably too old for you."

Me: "Yeah, you're probably right."

My friend: "Everybody says she looks exactly like Sophia Loren."

Me: "That's nice -- wait WHAT?!?!?"
