Hey Ace22 - just because MS puked up an update which includes an Edge update, don’t mean you have to use it!
What a bunch of us have been trying to tell you is -
Since you don’t like Edge-
DON’T USE EDGE AS YOUR PRIMARY BROWSER!
Use EDGE and download one of the other Browers mentioned in this thread! Download several.
Try them.
Pick the one you like!

For many years now, the ONLY good use for a microsoft browser was to get online and download another browser.

We tried it but found it very aggravating and strange. I don't know what the opposite of "user friendly" is but for me it's Microsoft Edge.

Try "User Hostile."

Somewhere in that popup is a button to check, which says "Don't show this again" or something similar. I actually use Edge to show my gMail account, and gMail thinks it's on Chrome. No popups, unlike running gMail on Chrome.
