Quite a few years ago I applied for an RN job at large Metropolitan Intercity University Hospital.
Following my interview for the job when I was getting ready to leave, the interviewer asked where I had parked. I told her in the multilevel parking lot.
She then advised me to walk down the center of the open space between cars and stay away from any cars. Also to look under my car the the cars on each side. There was a team of 2 people one of which was a child. The child would hide under one of the cars and cut the person's achilles tendon and then they would rob that person and take whatever was in their car.
A cut achilles tendon is painful and you cannot get up in a standing position without assistance.
Also:
While I was waiting for my interview in the Nursing Office I noticed the typical sign posted in most businesses department offices which states how many days have passed without an employee injury.
The sign in the Nursing Office listed the number of days for no physical injuries by patients or families to Nurses. It was 12 days.
No, I did decide I did not want to work there.
