But, there is a segment of the population that simply refused to use the brains they have. Perfectly good brains and absolutely no inclination to do anything with them at all. Mentally lazy, just some are physically lazy. Worse when both.

My neighbor had a push lawn mower I heard him giving it a good cusding one day so I walked over to see if I could lend a hand .He hlad just brought the mower back from the shop after spending 50 bucks on it . He said the guy at the shop pulled the start rope and it fired right up on the first pull and the guy cut a little grass with it cutting the mower off after about 10 feet and fireing it back up .He said it fired up on the first pull everytime. This poor guy had blistered his fingers and hand pulling that starter rope to no avail that mower would not start for him . He said I'm gonna work on it now and with that he went into his shed and came out with a maul and commenced beating that lawn mower to pieces .He found the problem when he knocked the gas tank off .It was empty .He sat right down on the ground and laughed like a lunatic . I went home walked in the back door and told my wife " we gotta move" . Anger will cause more stupid acts than any other emotion besides love .

My wife at times does some...shall we say...odd things. She had sold some antique furniture she had. Lot of money. Went out and bought some other stuff. Well she had 4- 500 left over so she put it somewhere to "keep it safe". Since she has CRS, stick a fork in her mind...3 months she can't find that money. Getting ready to go to an estate auction one day...walks over to the wood cook stove in the kitchen opens it and voila...there it was right on the side of the firebox in the bank envelope. Luckily it was summer.

Yup.

The two influences that have prompted me to do the most stupid things are anger and LUST (not love).

But alcohol probably caused me to do more stupid things - and things that were more stupid - than either anger or lust.

Go figure...

I posted a PS4 for sale on another forum. Somoene asked for pictures, which I sent. He followed up with a question: "Why does it look dusty?"

To which the only reply I could think of was, "Because it is covered in dust"? Well, I guess I could have written, "because i don't dust." Hindsight.
