The stuck fridge revisited--It's out!

Those dremel tool cutting wheels are nifty. As for the large angle grinder those things can as stated above tear some **** up you included. That is a tool I stay away from; I don't trust myself.

Considering the light gauge metal, just going after it with some metal shears might have worked as well. Less noise sparks etc.

I once used an angle grinder for gunsmithing. Used it to cut a shotgun barrel to length. I then used a bench mounted disc sander to smooth and flush it up. Don't try this at home. I have a PhD from WECSOG and have worked with Slate Granite from Bedrock and was the personal armorer to Yosemite Sam. I was offered some work building a "Space Demodulator" but I didn't like the guy that wanted to hire me. Creepy little dude.:D:D

Not enough space around the fridge to get in there with shears. There was less than 1/4 inch clearance each side.

As an Ironworker, we had feft, right and straight cut metal cutters for metal roofs
that did not have a large jaw on them, that might have worked for you.

However you might have needed a grinder to get that corner, if
the cutters did not go 100% of the way?

Glad to hear that you are off to the races, again.

There was a joke about this...

A colorectal surgeon, in retirement, decided he would like to be a mechanic, something he always wanted to be. So he signed up for an auto mechanics class. The final project was to completely rebuild the engine of one of the shop's cars.

When he was done, the teacher scored him at 200%, an A+++. Shocked, the former doctor asked how he had scored so high being that several other students also completed the task. "Well," said the teacher, "before you, nobody had ever done it all through the tailpipe."

Heard that joke years ago, but it was a gynecologist :D

My buddy has a whizzer/cut off wheel/grinder that is reversible, you can control which way the sparks fly.

An angle grinder tore me up a few years ago. I now have very little bone left under my right eye (orbital floor). I declined the recommended surgery after the surgeon admitted that I could always get it later if I experienced any issues. So far, so good other than the right cheek area feels "weird" from some, I assume, nerve damage.

Just don't be putting stuff into your garbage container, that does not belong,
according to the garbage , curb side truck, company, rules..........

You will be getting a letter in the mail with a PICTURE, taken by the truck,
of what they saw, coming out of the container, that was a no,no !!

Have fun.

Put it in a bag before you put it in the container. All they see is a bag of trash. Larry

I use small envelopes with folding cash inside, one for each of the trash collection crew a week or so before Christmas. During the rest of the year I never have to worry about whatever I need to get rid of, just set it out by the trash container.

There are few power tools as versatile for so many tasks as the Dremel tool. I can’t count the number of times that the Dremel was the best or the only device which was capable of doing what needed to be done. Many of those jobs involved the use of the abrasive cutting discs.
And Cratex rubberized abrasive points for deburring and polishing :)
They also make rubberized abrasive sticks for hand use.

My Dremel from c.1980 has long since bitten the dust, replaced by a Milwaukee M12 Rotary Tool
