Sir, with your posted photos, your membership has been approved and you will be sent your lapel pin in due time.
That is one fine looking 58. I like those stags just the way they are. If you want some with medallions, hit up Executioner. He can make them any way you want. Just be careful asking for 'extra bark', as they can be hard on the hands with stout loads.

Here is my parkerized submission. The serial number on this model 58 is S 2593XX. It shipped in October of 1965.

Here is my take on the M-58. i think they should have been available with a 5" barrel and not nesisarily a heavy brl. like this cut down M-57. More along the lines of the HD type

Ok you 58 guys...what are you running for ammo in your guns...either for target work or defensive carry.....
My "target" load is a 210 bullet, either a Berry's plated or one of the commercially cast Magma 210 bevel base bullets behind 8.0 grains of Unique... one hole accurate, shoots to POA and duplicates the original all lead Police Load.
For carry it has been the Speer 210 Gold Dot (now Deep Curl) HP. 1180 from the 4" barrel, expands very well, shoots to POA and recoil isn't as bad as some of the others...

Mine are 215 gr SWC with 10.5gr of SR4756. I have not chrono'd them, but they shoot to point of aim on my 58's...and they are comfortable to shoot too
