Anyone else see the unfired in the box nickel 58 that sold for $2875 yesterday...WOW...
Smith Wesson 58 No Dash 4" RARE NICKEL Simply Amazing CONSUMER UNFIRED .41m - Revolvers at GunBroker.com : 875655073
38-44s...what nice guns... Bought a birth year 1952 4" a few years ago as I had never even handled one before...so smooth.. Have been close a couple of times to sending it to Jack Huntington to turn it into a .41 Special but just like it as is with real .38-44 loads...as in +P+... Don't know who had it before me but they didn't shoot it at all...
Came close to buying a 1952 5" yesterday that had the original gold boxbox...$899 plus $65 shipping. Seller got his one bid. If it had not sold I was going to make him an offer of $850 delivered but he got is money...and it was VERY clean...
Bob
ps...just noticed there is another unfired nickel 58 from the same seller...wonder what that one will sell for...
