On 9/8/2024 my wife of 46 years passed away from cancer. Less than 2 months after being diagnosed she was gone. The last month was awful she was subsisting on pain meds and I was waiting on her 24/7. Three hospital stays and innumerable procedures and tests.
This is not a prayer request we did enough of that before during and after by me and many others.
Through this horrible ordeal for her I came to really appreciate how terrible cancer is. Many on here know exactly what I am saying.
The reason for this post is to humbly ask that if at anytime one may feel in a giving mood please make a contribution to cancer research and or to your local Hospice. Arkansas Hospice is the greatest bunch of people on this earth. The help they gave my wife and I before, during and after her passing was tremendous.
I do not seem to be able to post a picture of us in happier times. I wish I could. She and I were best friends along with husband and wife. I know my last thought on this earth will be of her.
Thanks for reading

Max,

I went through the same thing in 2021. My wife was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer in June and passed away on October 1st. There are no words that I can offer to make things easier for you. But know that I will honor your request and make a donation ASAP.

Lean on your friends here on the forum for support and prayers... we're all in this together!

Max, I gave you a "like" but it's not a like ….its an understanding. Unfortunately, many of us here have been, and still are, where you are today. Thursday will be the twentieth memorial of the loss of my first wife to breast cancer. After all this time, the wound is still there. The heart heals but never fully. Grieve but turn to family and friends. That can give solace to a broke heart.
My condolences my friend, I understand.
