A month or so ago I read about the work of the Smith & Wesson Historical Foundation in digitalizing the S&W records. It's hard to overestimate the importance of this: if not computerized they will inevitably be lost; the Foundation is preserving history. I only wish someone were doing similiar work on the Colt, Winchester Savage, etc, etc, etc, records. So I sent them a contribution. Today I got back a nice letter of thanks and a membership card in the Foundation. I'm proud to be a little part of doing good, and after I signed on the forum today, I made sure to change my profile to show my membership.
