I've seen quite a bit of PowerPistol in my area, which is good because I load with it.
The gun shop by me is 45 miles one way, been there 3 times in the last 2 weeks, no pistol powder ever. Lots of rifle powder.

Well, this was a months' long quest, but worth the time. The 2400 came from a gun show, and the BE & Unique came from a gun store in a small town 80 miles away. The owner said he would call if something came in on my list. It did and he did. I actually found HP-38 at the last gun show, too, but it didn't make the cut for the photo op. Like I said, "things are looking up" in the traditional pistol powder department. At age 62, I figure I need 20 years worth of powder to make it through. Almost there

I've been fortunate enough to keep a good supply of Bullseye and at least adequate supply of Unique (which I use very little anyway.) On the other hand, I sure would like to get a fresh pound or two of 2400.
BTW, I did score a four pound jug of 700X and an 8 pound jug of HP-38, so my loading for light and midrange 32s and 38s is well under control. Now to build up a good backlog of pistol primers!

Yeah, primers are around almost every where. I pick up a 1k box every time I visit a place looking for powder. But , man, the prices vary from $30-$60 depending on where you go. Unacceptable
Camp Perry, Ohio pistol championships had 8# Bullseye and Unique by the pallet load. The vendors had a 53 foot trailers full, including all the primers you could ever want or need.
