Thinking about getting a 22 rifle tomorrow.

The old Deluxe Ruger 10/22s with the real walnut stocks and metal trigger guards were really beautiful guns that would make a great heirloom to pass down for generations. I would rather have a rifle with a plastic stock than the cheap birch stocks with ugly stain. Maybe a put a trigger kit in it and that should be all the accuracy you need from a lightweight semi-auto.

great gun the model 60.. But oh no you didn't get it at hyatts gun shop they are a bit high on stuff.

they need to move that store very bad area its in. we get a discount there and still they are high even with my discount. but on the other hand they do have a lot of stuff. enjoy the rifle.

Never had a model 60. I have a Marlin M-25 22 LR I glass bedded and scoped, it's a tack driver. I also own a Ruger 10-22. It works great to. You don't have to do all the mods to have a nice shooter.

The big thing is start buying ammo, you don't know how many apple eating squirrels you might have to shoot, clean and fry at the cabin. Buy, buy, buy on the 22 ammo.
