Thinking about getting another M13

Currently have a very nice 13-3 3 inch with a bobbed hammer. Shoots greats and has been my primary carry for about a month. Anyways I'm looking around and I found a 3 inch 13-4 at a local shop, it appears to be in great shape but does not have a bobbed hammer. They want $575 for it, do you think that is too much, and if so what would you guys pay at the most for it? Its a hard to find gun from what I have seen so part of me is saying "don't be dumb, but it now while you can" . Also what did they change from the 13-3 to the 13-4?

That seems pretty high. For that you can find a Model 65 and won't have to worry about sweating on it when you carry it. Maybe it will linger and you can talk them down.

If it's mint and has the box and all accessories, I'd say it was a little high, but I would look at it from the standpoint of the fact that you can't buy a new one. I'd put the value on my -3 at about 500.00 with box and everything, but it sure would be tough to sell it for me!

That may be a mistake on my part, But I just dont need it, I have a 4" and , Well,,, Ok, I may have to go back and look at it.
BUT not P&Rd,,,,, So I guess I dont need it.

I'd be waiting at the door on Mon morning with cash in hand!
You may not NEED it but there are a lot of people who WANT one of those.
You could always sell it for a profit but my guess is once you shoot it you will keep it.

Talked them down to $550 OTD. Prolly paid too much but gd it I wanted it and Im impulsive. now I just have to get a bobbed hammer installed and have it converted to DAO.

YES YOU DO! That is a STEAL of a price! Even if no box or papers, if it is in good shape, it's well worth that. If I was you , and had the cash, it would go home with me!

I bought a 13-3 3" with factory combats (no box or papers) for $500 this weekend (from a fellow forum member, I believe). No looking back..
