yeah, i didn't think they knew what they were talking about. but they have damn good prices, i just try not to listen to their nonsense. i bought a decent 3913 from them, a bit of wear, some chips in the finish, but overall good condition. my next hunt is for a 6906. only the compact models fit in my hands, and they're the only ones i can carry, i'm a smallish guy. 5"7 and 135lb.

The 6906 is one of my all time favorite 3RD Gens. It was my first, as a matter of fact GB has six of them, the last time I looked.

oh, if i had the money, i would just buy a handful of them. i'd be set for life.

My 6906 doesn't fail short on anything. I'm thinking the store had 39xxs on hand and no others.

I picked up a LOE trade-in 6906 this past spring. I was looking for a knock around used 9mm. The counter staff at this LGS are just about all old retired LOE's. They had all carried 6906's at some point and raved about them. Now, I understand why. It's a very good handgun and has become my EDC. Finding magizines was a little bit of an issue (big thank to the other members for hooking me up!) and holsters too, but it's all good now. I now wish i hadn't passed on that 4506-1 a few years ago.

Just wanted to comment. After too long, I finally made it back to the range. I wanted to reacquaint myself with my 4013, and to test fire a Glock 23 for a comparison. One hundred fifty rounds, two thirds of which I put through the S&W, convinced me that I already own the pistol best suited for me. Beginning with grip, to handling, and the enjoyment of shooting, I like my gun. For the moment, at least... my wallet is safe.

I absolutely love my 6906. It's reliable, accurate, and has an excellent design for function and durability, as well as being very easy to take apart and replace parts, as needed (springs). I liked it so much, I went looking for another 3rd gen and found a 910 in good shape. It too is a good reliable 9mm which has become my truck gun. Until I found S&W autos, I thought my CZ was my favorite, but that designation now goes to my 6906.
