This doesn't Sound Good For You Illinois Folk'ss

For some reason, I am not surprised. But I have to say it sucks, and after getting slapped with the state tax increase, this is typical standard operating procedure for this state.

And all those people for "sensible gun control" told us that we shouldn't be paranoid and be afraid of things like the FOID card database as nothing bad would ever come of it... Hmpf. Not exactly so 'paranoid' anymore, are they?

Holy Cra9 JcMack,
Talk about Paranoid, as a gun dealer I tell folks Not to put their SS# on the form, but really guy, those 4473 forms aren't any fun to look through & I highly doubt anybody but the ATF & the gun-store ever get a look at your valuable data...You wanna worry about something worry about what the Bankers are doing with your info, it isn't gonna make a gun dealer a dime, but the bank--They can do plenty with it.

OKAY GUY....NEVERMIND

Fellow Illinoisians --

IL Senate Bill 27 (SB27) which is the senate version of HB0007 written to block the release of FOID names comes up for public hearing on March 8. IT IS NOT TOO LATE to write or call your state senator to voice your opinion to keep FOID records private. This bill, if made law, would keep the records private permenantly unless there is a criminal investigation.

If you haven't made your voice heard, now is the time.

As a former Illinois resident, I have many friends and family that are still there, or close by. I would love to be able to move back "home" (if there was any work there). When I left, there was still enough downstate population that Chicago did not have complete control over the state, but the state has been ruined now.
