True story from a few minutes ago ...

Stopped at the local grocery store for fresh ingredients for tonight.

Working through the vegetable section when I hear this little guy riding in mom's shopping cart yell "BROCCOLI ALERT!" at the top of his lungs as she passed the green stuff.

Everyone around cracked up - couldn't even tell if he loved or hated it.

Last night we had grilled salmon with my homemade garlic and herb spice and olive oil, grilled asparagus and Indian bread.
Tonight I was thinkin' of a white chicken and broccoli pizza with a garlic butter outer crust.
Biggest problem I have is I just came off a week long treatment at the hospital and I'm not supposed to drink beer. Maybe just one wouldn't hurt.

Had a hard time last Christmas finding Piccalilli to serve with my baked ham so I decided to make my own for next season.
Ingredients: Baby white onions,garlic bulbs,cauliflower florets,shallots,cukes and while hardly traditional.....BROCCOLI.
