Had a hard time last Christmas finding Piccalilli to serve with my baked ham so I decided to make my own for next season.
Ingredients: Baby white onions, garlic bulbs, cauliflower florets, shallots, cukes and while hardly traditional.....BROCCOLI.
Yes. It stands for "Corrective Therapy for Gangsters."Can any of you experts tell me what "CTG" means?
Time for a zombie thread revival...
Do zombies like brocolli?
Piccalilli is a mustard based pickle of small, young vegetables that is traditionally served with a baked ham in parts of the UK and it's colonies.Duppie, I've never heard of Piccalilli?! I've gotta admit though, it sounds pretty good! Do you put some kind of dressing or vinaigrette on it?![]()

It's thick, tart flavor serves as a balance to a sweet glaze on fatty baked ham we traditionally serve around Christmas, I grew up with the Crosse & Blackwell brand but Heinz makes a decent product that is increasingly hard to find so I'll just make my own going forward.
Just Heinz Piccalilli pickle. It's a UK product that is available on line but I was able to buy it at local groceries but increasingly less so.Now it really sounds good! Do you remember the name of the Heinz Brand?![]()
It is too a word! it's an antonym for "Alittle"By the way it's "a lot" not "Alot" - that is not even a word...the grammer of some people........

Had spinach on a pizza last night. Is it relevant for a broccoli thread?
