This why my latest pawn shop find. 1st Model Safety hammer-less in hard to improve upon condition. It does have some freckles but that is at least 80% or better, original finish, all things considered.

That is real sweet to say the least! I have a couple of pawn shops I will buy from as they are willing to deal on older S&W's. How can one be offended by that? Kyle

Yea, sometimes you can make out.
The M28 from 1960 I got cheap, but the same store has a M14-3 he wants $550 for & won't budge on it...
