Gun is nothing but shooter quality, no collector value due to improper storage after last "use".

If the owner wants it to sell, it needs to be a penny auction. Someone will buy it cheap, but not pay a premium for a gun like that.

I would not be interested at any price, though.

If it was a 4" and the price was right, I'd be on it like a duck on a june bug! There's no telling at the people my m1 carbines, 03 Springfield, Mausers, Carcano, Arisaka, 1917 Smith, 1911, etc. have killed. I'm not likely to throw them away over it.

Badly rusted LOWERS the value of any gun though. Someone shooting himself with it DOESN'T raise the value - Not even a little.

For $150 - $200 though that would make a fine anti-bear pistol though

Heck - You could even shorten the barrel and not hurt it's true value.

How much history do we know about any used guns we buy? And, as was stated ahead of me, there's a fair chance more people own "lethal" weapons they don't know about. In this case, I believe those are RC, so if the price were much lower I'd have no problem owning it.

I already own one confirmed "Suicide" gun (Colt Detective Spcl 2" Bbl). The DS had some blue loss and slight pitting from blood spatter not being cleaned off. I had it parkerized to cover the blue loss and pitting. So no, it wouldn't bother me in the least. As far as his bid starting price, that bothers me.

As far as my military issued weaponry: Of my M1's, M1 Carb's, 1911's, 1911A1's, 1917, Victory, P-38's, Mosin Nagant's, SKS's, 98K... I would be willing to bet my bottom dollar that at least one of them has blood on them, although it would be next to impossible to prove.
