When I first got interested in shooting, there were some folks who were known to take M28s and make them into ... whatever. .44 special was a common conversion because they were not coming from the factory. I can see someone doing a .45 ACP in the same manner and this looks well done.
There are a lot of neat customs out there. They are not fiscally prudent for me due to other needs, but I can certainly appreciate them.
