I don't know if any of you have seen this, but I saw him (the actor) on the Glen Beck show today. I was "forced" to read Thomas Paine in high school...being the 17 year old rebel, I could have cared less about the book. I have recently read this once again, and his message holds true to today.

He mentions that to get noticed, to send a tea bag to the members of Congress. He has said now that the envelopes are being thrown away because they may contain a bad substance, so he wants you to just send the tea bag tag. Hopefully, the message will start generating what we Americans are really feeling!! He has another video, so if you click on his name, it will bring that one up too. Notice how he speaks differently on guns in the two videos!

It may make you feel better but Chicago thug politicians couldn't care less if some right wingers are displeased.

Tom Paine is one of my (few) heroes. Without him this country might not have been born.

I have always been impressed by how his book,"Common Sense", spread like wildfire and crystallized opinion. And that in a day when the fastest mode of transportation and communication was a galloping horse.

Every few years I take the book down and reread it. And yes, it remains relevant today.

We hold a few protests, we throw some tea in the harbor, we go to Charleston and fire at Fort Sumpter again.
It's all about going to what ever level is required to get their attention.

I posted this earlier this week in the Political section under "Watch This".

Everybody needs to see this and the obama deception.

Frightening!

Kids today don't even know who Thomas Pain was, much less read his writings. It is very relevent today but the schools don't care about that.
