Those Fun Loving Neighbors....

I couldn't stay in a neighborhood that makes Deliverance look like Beverly Hills. Then again, the property value is probably non-existent, so I couldn't leave if I wanted.

All kidding aside, I hope Charlie stays safe in the midst of that lunacy.

banjo lessons cant be THAT bad:D

I guess there might be a "professional ethics" problem with posting pictures of their faces. I vote we beg him for photos of KR from behind. That way we wouldn't be burdened with anything anyone could complain about.

The thing that strikes me is that every few of Charlies posts results in others suggesting he should move. I'm guessing Charlie just has his ear to the ground better than most. The same kind of stuff happens in everyone's neighborhood. They just keep it kind of quiet or the others prefer not to hear the sordid truth.

Not in my neighborhood! Nothing has happened here of note for the last 20 years that I have lived here. One time a cow got out, another time I saw a mule walking down the road. My Son spotted a mountain lion crossing the road last week. My closest neighbors have been to my house once since I lived here and that was to give me a tool box that fits in the back of my S-10. I have a 3 mile gravel road/private lane leading down to my "neighborhood" that is inhabited by 6 different families that are sure to thin out the riff-raff before it filters down this far. It's a mile or so to the closest one. Posts like Charlie's make me appreciate this area, my little corner of the Earth, more with each one I read. I am afraid that if I had to live around folks like he described, there would be trouble and some one would have to go if it spilled over into my space.
I absolutely can not imagine anywhere else I would want to be than right here. Peace and quiet 24/7. Every now and then, one of my dogs will get to barking at night and I have to go out and shut them up, but only if I have to "go" out there anyways.
Charlie's story kinda makes me think of what my Mom used to say about women that were being abused, but stayed with the abuser. She would say that they must like it or they would leave. Maybe there is a certain attraction to chaos that appeals to some. Not me. I love Peace and harmony as much as can be realized at this point in society.
Peace Charlie, I hope things smooth out for your neighborhood. 65-3 huh? great choice.

As I pulled into my driveway this evening at 5:p.m. Martin pulled up. He asked me to stand at the end of my drive as he got some more of his stuff. I told him I was off duty and to call whoever was on duty. He said he didn't want to bother anybody (apparently this didn't include me) and he would take care of things himself. I hid where I could watch as Martin went in the door of the trailer. A few seconds later "Red The Child Molestor" shot out the front door like he had been shot out of a cannon. He hit the woods while trying to dial his cell phone. Martin got an old matress and some other stuff and then left. A few minutes later the same officer who had Red's parole violated three years ago showed up over there. I don't think that was who Red wanted to see. He complained about Martin and the officer left without doing anything or taking a report. Martin said he was coming back Sunday for the rest of his stuff. I'll be out of town.

Charlie- if I lived where you do I don't think I would mow the lawn with anything less than an N frame with a caliber starting with .4 and ending with magnum or colt. Please feel free to TASE the child molester anytime, maybe he will have a heart attack and croak.

Charlie, have you contacting the Jerry Springer show, they couldn't even make this stuff up. Sounds like a whole season of episodes from your neighborhood.

The older I get the more I find this too be true. The size of the houses and the size of the income may be different but the people are doing the same things. Larry
