Those guns you always wanted

I've been drooling over a true Mil-Spec H&K Mk23 with suppressor for a long time

A Luger and a K22 and I am sure I will find others as time goes on.

This will sound a little weird coming from a die-hard S&W guy, but since I first saw a picture of one as a kid in the fifties, I've always wanted a High Standard Natchez--never have run across one.

My wish list is kind of short for now.
A nice condition model 36 and a bolt action walnut stocked rifle in .260 Remington.

Beretta 98 F (same as 92SBC Compact Type M in .30 Luger). I have never seen one. Would be easy, I guess, to get .30 Luger barrel for my 92 SBC Type M.

The next time I go to Italy, I plan to look for a Beretta 98 in .30 Luger. I think the cartridge is near worthless, but the pistol is obscure enough that I want one. Not too many people in the US know about that gun.

Putting a .30 Luger barrel in a 92 just won't be the same.

Gun I want back

Actually there are three
1. Colt SAA #2697

2. My pristine Triple Lock Target

3. Parker SxS 28ga.

I got hooked on guns in my last couple years of high school; made up a list of the ones I would like to have someday, ranging from a Springfield 1873 Trapdoor to a new Colt Gold Cup and a Model 29. Got all of them but one a long time ago, except for a 3rd Model Woodsman Match Target, 4 1/2". Elusive little things, and getting pricey.

I've been lucky, and I'm grateful.

I own a Webley Fosbery. But I like to own an Mauser Zigzag model 1878 to. But these are in a reasneble condition about 5000 dollar.
I do think that means a divorce.

I guess an MP5 PDW, non-suppressed. I fired a suppressed one and it's like those old Thompson BB guns you shoot the star with at the fair, except for the shower of brass flying out of it. I need noise. Joe

WOW, I didn't know we had so many big bore rifle buffs on this board. I knew about S&WChad but the rest of you are coming out of the closet :). I've always been a nut for the big guns!!

Here is my list, it goes along with many others on here...

A nice H&H double rifle
H&K 53 (weeell any H&K SMG really, I just like shooting the 53)
AMT AutoMag 44 Mag

I know the Auto Mag isn't the greatest of guns, I remember seeing one when I was 12 or so for $750.00 in the local gun shop. I just fell in love with the pistol. Almost bought a H&K 51 several years ago, only thing is it was belt fed, if it had been magazine fed I'da bought it. Kinda wish I'da bought it now...it would have easily tripled in value.

Cheers,
Sam

My holy grail handgun is a S & W Triplelock or Model 1926, 3rd Model 4" in .44 Special.....I hope to find one when I have the $$$ at the same time.

Same as TXSWfan, a 3" Lew Horton M25-3 (.45ACP).

Always wanted a LH M24 3" as well (saw and handled one at a Knoxville gun show in about 1985 and have wanted one ever since).

As a teenager I always wanted a Model 58, a Gold Cup, and a 4" M29 (now I have 2).

A 4" 1950 Military and a 4" 1950 Target, and a 4" pre29 . . .

For me, a 1918 mlnt BAR and a 1921 Thompson in a fitted case with acc. I live behind the lines in occupied Il. so the chances are slim that I will ever have them. Still, I can dream.
