I just got back from my favorite LGS/Range. They had a nice 6" blue 57 no-dash that had just hit the used-consignment shelf for $850. Had a noticeable turn line but was timed correctly on all six bores both SA and DA. Yoke had no wiggle and blended really well into the frame. No obvious signs of abuse or heavy use of rhino-rollers. But I passed. I WANTED it but could think of other things to do with $1k than buy I gun I would only rarely actually shoot. I like .41 mag. I own a model 58 that is my favorite walk-in-the-woods gun. Maybe I am getting older and smarter. (Or not.)
