Thought on Colts competition 1911

Picked up the Colt this morning, cleaned and lubed it.
Happy so far. It actually is a blued gun, not coated as some implied, I believe with the series 70, you get the blued version.
No rattling, nice tight fit. Nice trigger, now I just need to go shoot it.

Nice! I have a two tone S70 Competition in .45 that I bought a few months ago. It's a really nice package, well put together and nicely finished. The trigger is surprisingly good out of the box, and it is accurate and reliable. Looking forward to your range report.

Not bad for a trip to the casino. My grandmother used to go to Biloxi with $20 in quarters and play slots. She'd often win what the boys lost on the tables.
