I Love N-Frames. I own two, a 625 and a 610, both 4".

I would love to carry them more, but just can't find a holster that's comfortable and concealable for all day wear.

I end up always pulling up my pants everytime I move.

I've tried various Kydex rigs, and even this FIST pictured. It was a hybrid Kydex/Leather (see below).

I've tried a Tom 3 Persons. That actually hurts my back.

Nothing works for me. Does anyone else have something that they can wear all day that rides well?

Rolan, my new N frame came with a holster from Simply Rugged that I like a lot, but to be fair I'm carrying a 325pd not a 4 inch steel model. I do see them recommended around here often though.

Yeesh! That's a lotta gun to carry concealed! Sorry ;-)

Anyway, an idea might be a cross draw rig? I have one I use for my Mountain Gun and it's nice and snug and might conceal decently, just thinking.

After carrying a handgun, every day, for 30 years, retired now, and now having the ID card that says i can carry it, if I want to, I am really not much into carrying concealed, anymore. I don't have to. But, for everyday wear out here in the boonies, my 329PD lives in a Bianchi 111 cyclone. Its a strong side, and weak side carry. So, either conventional, or crossdraw.

Make sure you have a good gun belt and then add some suspenders.

They make the world of difference.

I carry my 5 inch 27-2 mostly in a Simply Rugged Sourdough with inside-out loops. Seems to work well.

Right now though, it's OWB in a EPS Crosshair under a fleece shirt.

Another vote for the cyclone, I used one 20 years ago in Wyoming to pack a 6" model 29 when hunting or fishing. Worked well for me then.

Rolan,
Have you looked at DeSantis?
I have one of their concealment holsters for N-Frames (can't recall which one offhand) that works about as well as can be expected with the size & weight of the guns.

Might consider a Galco FLETCH.

Weight will be a factor in any holster if you want to carry a big Smith.

I think that this is the answer. I have carried a 4" N, both a cut-down 25 in a DeSantis, and a 520 in a Kramer from Dillon, and both were OK with me with a fairly good 1.75" belt. I have since had some experience with a good 1.5" belt from The Beltman, and it seems to be an improvement. I know that it is much stiffer, and won't let the gun move around as easily. It also seems more comfortable (when wearing a gun).
