ok folks you all seem interesed so here we go. 10-5 in pretty good shape considering it looks like someone , sometime, tossed it out the window of a moving vehicle.
a couple of the skid marks makes me think it slid for a ways after initial impact.
on barrel end of cylinder there was enough metal displaced that in 1 spot the cylinder wouldn't turn any more. gouges on end of barrel, not past outside of crown.
the frame imediately above grip and end of clylinder lock peened. nothing effecting operation.
after a few minutes with a small fine file i had cylinder moving freely though dry fireing.
the ivory grips had a spot of roadrash bottum edged of right hand grip. cleanded off some foriegn matter in a couple of places. cleaned with toothbrush and oil and i like em.
plan on leaving revolver and grips togeather for now and work into carry rotation.
sorry no new pics but will try to fix that soon. thanks to all of you for your input. oh by the way model 10-5 2 inch barrel serial D166095, as always, thanks to all for replies and advice, krs
