On last night's new episode, the scene where Maggie opens the trunk and finds a bound & gagged zombie, she appears to have a TR 325. It is definitely a revolver with the IL, and it seemed to have the rail area under the barrel.

I believe it is an R8, the barrel looks a little longer, and the front rail looks fixed to the barrel shroud. They showed it a few times last season in the episode when Eugene got smacked around.

*edit* I also hate them for showing it, seeing as my dealers cannot get a hold of one and it is just taunting me on screen.

The final scene shows the revolver's profile against the rising sun ... there is a sizable gap in front of the cylinder letting light through, reminiscent of the TR 325 I owned, but I think you're correct ...

TRR8

What was up with that walker in the trunk? Bound and gagged woman. Kidnapped and raped? Going to be sold? It didn't even look threatening. Seemed to be pleading with her to be put down. I think that's why Maggie closed the trunk and then thought better of it and insisted on putting it down.

But it's s lucky Walker who gets to feast on Maggie! Even looking grimy and gross she's hot! Wonder why none of the girls have hair in their pits? Remember in season 3 when Andrea was tied to the chair by the governor as walker bait and there was a pair of pliers on the floor she was trying to get with her toes? My wife immediately noticed her feet had a pedicure and were freshly painted!

Looked like a .357 flavor to me...........But I was checking out Maggie......:)

Rick's Python is part of his character. Sheriff with the hat and all. The actor who plays him wears it between takes and nobody is allowed to touch it. Just wish he knew how to shoot it. That one armed extended shooting he does is getting old. At least Maggie uses 2 hands. Although the pic above with her holding it is pretty bad. Support hand should be way higher. You'd think the actors on such s gun heavy show would be tutored by advisors.

In a TWD world a revolver would make sense. No empties to chase after. Easier for reloading (obviously, they must have a LEE handpress in one of their satchels, and a few pounds of Unique).

It had a 5" barrel and lots of rounds in the cylinder. It was a TRR8. I was surprised to see it as well.

Perhaps someone took advantage of the apocalypse to get rid of their wife after she kept complaining about her husband's driving. He probably just "forgot" she was in there.

it IS kind of becoming a subtle theme in the show. First Rick and Shane find the two dead cops in the factory behind the fence, then later Michonne was walking in the herd and looked over to see her own zombie doppelganger (who she later beheaded) and now Maggie opens the trunk and finds the doppelganger for Beth.

Would make a good webisode to see the backstory on each of the main cast's doppelgangers and how they got to the point of crossing paths in the story with the main characters. Or for that matter, to see the zombie versions of the main characters form a herd of their own and cross paths with their living counterparts... and then the hilarity would ensue! ;)

And as for the TRR8, I still cannot believe this show has not had a character with a S&W 500 Magnum... YET. ;)

Rick (Andrew) and Maggie (Lauren) are both British, so handgunning is not in their DNA...or very much gunning at all, for that matter.

Good thing they're living it up whilst they have a chance, albeit in poor form.
