Years ago I was at a local show. There was one table that had a brand new Davis derringer .22 iirc. Black with faux pearl stocks. It was 85.00 I think.. I told myself “man you need to get it!” So cool! “Ok.. I’ll walk these couple isles and if it’s there when I come back it’s mine!” It was gone

In the mid 1990's I bought 4 of those (over a 2-year period) for $29,00+tax.
2 in 32 ACP and 2 in 22 Mag. I still have 3 of them.

The 32's have instructions to use Silver Tip Hollow Points, but I loaded lead bullets with 32 S&W data in ACP brass. I used them in SASS "Belly Gun" side matches. Always had a great time and won nothing!
