But, I have to tell y'all - Paul's M&P Target 38 with the box is something special - the color case on the trigger and hammer are as nice as I have seen on any any vintage S&W.:D:cool: With that inspiration, I'm setting my machine - Destination 1916...

This 1955 Target shipped in 1955.

Love the wood on those smoothies - is the other side as nice?

This one is Cheely Quality as it came form Ray's collection...

Great to see one of Ray's Babies (I saw the bunch of them at the Tucson Symposium several years ago and suffered from RM overload for months afterwords...);)

Thanks to everyone for sharing - I'm looking forward to more to come,

Let's go back to the beginning. Here are three of the First Model hand ejector revolvers made by S&W, they almost look like they could have been sitting in a store display case back in 1900. These First Models are sporting both MOP and HR stocks, for those who prefer one type over the other.

LOVE IT!!! I think you have the box & goodies I need for my early January 1931 K22 Outdoorsman!!! You just don't see those for sale all the time!:(

Here are some that look like they could have been shipped yesterday!

This one seems to fit the bill of a "time machine" gun. It's a transitional Kit gun; frame serialed in 1940, but not completed until after WWII in June 1951, with some post-war parts. In nearly perfect condition.

Here's an M&P from 1923 - in flawless condition.

This is a Heavy Duty in near perfect condition, vintage of 1957.

Safety Hammerless .32 from 1921. I'm betting unfired, in perfect condition.

This Model 10-2 dates from May, 1962 - it's unfired, new in the box. OK, not QUITE 55 years old, but damn close.

S&W Model 1940 Light Rifle, 9mm semiauto - first model (MkI). Probably the rarest S&W that went to full production. Perfect condition. Wish It was mine. Belongs to AZFirearms.com in Avondale, Arizona.
