If I could go back to the 90's, I'd be buying guns from the 50's through the 70's a lot cheaper than they are now. S&W hasn't made a revolver since 1982 that I'm interested in.

Yes, I have to agree with you about the pined & recessed pre 82 smiths. Unfortunately I have been selling the nicer collector types to afford more lower priced shooters.
There was a time when the classic models with there full under lug came out, that I thought they were ugly looking and avoided them. Now 30 years later, somehow a dozen or so have made it into the safe.
