Time to move on.

Great place. Good luck and have fun.

So, just for the record, the next S&W Forum meeting is in Idaho, right?! :D

Congratulations...............

The Bay area reached a density threshold that made any
movement a high friction event.

At one time it really had a bunch of easy options to be cool places.

One friendly suggestion........lose the CA. plates ASAP

Start out on the right foot so to speak....;)

Well done, sir! That looks like a wonderful place, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it alot. I know I would!

I've got family up in CD'A, they go back to the homesteading days. According to them, the first thing you need to do is get your ID lcense plates on your vehicles asap. Kalifornians are root of all ills, by their lights.

I'm confused. What are those thingies sticking up in the background? Did somebody build those?

It looks kind of like the land goes up, VERTICAL, instead of horizontal, you know - perfectly flat, the way it is in Texas...

Awesome! ID, WY and MT and three of the most beautiful states in the Union!

Congrats!! That is a very nice looking view with a better looking house.:)

Awesome. My job took me to the STL area, made friends but hated the big city. We bought a farm and now are one hour from the nearest mall.

We have a 24x7 wally world, why we can get anything there except ammo. :(

Very nice. I was born, raised and lived (short of college in SLO) my first 35 years in the Cal East Bay. Though I am currently wrapping up a career working in Korea and have spent the past 10 years living/working outside the US we have landed two homes to retire to. One is in the Texas Hill Country and the other is in north Idaho. Best decisions we have ever made. Here's to a long, healthy retirement for you.

I can't imagine moving from SF to ID. Culture shock. Instead of the pretentious neighbor got a new BMW to replace his 2yr old Mercedes, smog reports and "Let's do italian for lunch; I know a great hole in the wall restaurant" with double tall mocha latte to "Hank borrowed the .243 to get rid of a few coyotes that were hanging out on his property."

Get a good bird dog and you'll make friends quickly. :D

Enjoy the freedom.
