Just passed the 3000 round mark with my Tisas GI style M1911A1:

Zero jams and 100% perfect reliability through two cases of Winchester military hardball and 500 rounds of Magtech, 250 rounds of Blazer brass 230 grain, and 250 rounds of mixed Federal HST and Remington Golden Saber.

Magazines have been Checkmate USGI new old stock. Cleaning has been conducted approx once every 500 rounds.

No noticeable wear other than the expected finish wear. Gun is very accurate despite the small GI sights.

Best pistol for the money I have ever bough.

First target for my GI Tisas, 100 rounds at 20 yards. Have been " distracted" by my new to me S&Ws and Colt Delta Elite recently.
Here's my WWI Mark 1 modified and carried by a 82nd Airborne trooper in WW II.

VERY nice and highly collectible.

Mine is a reproduction example and I made a sheath for it from an old Ka-Bar spare.

I'm a Tisas fan too.

Curious, based on your positive endorsement of this pistol I'm wondering how the qualifier about the price point is relevant? Have you ever spent more money on a pistol and gotten better results?
I can't speak for Glenn, but the Wilson Combat and Las Baer 1911's I owned were higher quality guns, but for what I paid, I'd expect it. I've been very happy with the Tisas guns I've tried. I have two now that are great guns for the money.
