TK Customs

I have a 686+ I would like to have the cylinder cut for moon clips. I was thinking about sending it to TK Customs Welcome to TK Custom.com & Moonclips.com.

Has anybody had any experiance with them? Do they do good work in a timely manner or avoid them?

Are there other places that do better work?

TK Custom or Clark in Louisiana - both do good work.

I have known Tom at TK Custom for many years. He does first rate and I highly recommend him. He is also a retired LEO.

Tom is excellent and reliable. I hear he is trying to semi-retire, and not sure what he is all doing anymore. Whatever he does it is top rate.

It's been awhile since this has had any comments so I'd like to add one. In July of 2012 I had TK cut thre 686 cylinders and purchased 30 moonclips. Previous to that I purchased 20 clips for my 627 Pro. His service is top knotch as is his workmanship. I highly recommend him. He also gave me a tour of his shop and showed me how his machine works that he uses to cut the clips. Great guy and a mighty fine shooter too.
