To my friends here... "I regret to inform you..."

My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours during this most difficult time. May God bless and protect all of our service personnel who give so unselfishly of themselves.

Words can never express the gratitude I feel for your son's sacrifice and for the sacrifice of his family. You have my everlasting respect and I will honor your son's memory like I do every soldier who dies in service to our nation. The job he was doing was vital for us and I appreciate those who do it with all my heart. My prayers will be with you and your family through this terrible time. God bless you and keep you. And again you have my undying respect and I will always honor what your son has done for me and my family.

Please allow me to add my humble prayer for your family and friends at this time of great sorrow. God bless you all.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Elijah, your family, and His comrades who remain behind. God bless you all and bring peace to your hearts in this difficult time.

Eventhough I never met your son it brought tears to my eyes. I've been back from Iraq since September. Everytime the flag was half mass I thought one was to many. Most of us at the base were strangers, but I considered them my brothers. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

I have seen the picture of your son and that makes me very very sad. My thoughts are with you and your family. God bless you.

To the Hart Family:
Thank you for raising a son willing to serve his country. Your family will be in my prayers.

our prayers are with you

Our son was one of your son's friends in Afghanistan. He told us about your son this morning. We are so sorry for your loss. We are praying for your family, as well as for the other families who are in the military and face this each day.
Sincerely,
The Ponder's

Men are alive because your son was doing the job he selflessly chose to do. There is no greater accomplishment, and we are all rightly humbled by him.

There are no words that I can say,
but this is what the Division Sergeant Major gave to me written on the flap a C Ration box, when we were having the Memorial Services for those lost on Hamburger Hill, Dong Ap Bia in the A Shau in 1969.

"They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn,
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them."
~Binyon

May God Bless You and Your Family.

Rule 303
