With a little reinforcement, there's no reason this shouldn't work!

There is always room for a Lee Hand Press or a Lyman 310. Both of those work well even sitting in a recliner.

There is always the Lee hand press. Everything would fit in a plastic bin that could be stored under the bed or similar although I would store the primers away from the powder.

Wow you just really got me thinking on this one. There is a guy down the street that sells refurbished washers and dryers...

That would make a hell of a brass cleaning and drying system...

Hmmm...

I have no space I can dedicate to reloading here in FL. I prep all my cases with a Lee hand press and RCBS hand primer (all while enjoying a good show on TV). I attached my single-stage press to a small piece of plywood which I clamp to the kitchen counter for seating/crimping the completed rounds.

Other than a few minutes to set up the press and powder dropper, it's not a real inconvenience.

Some folks have made a top for a Black&Decker "WORKMATE" table and use that to reload on, when done, remove top, fold up WORKMATE.

Have to ask him how many pounds of stainless steel media they will hold.

Can't imagine how loud a dryer would sound with thousands of pieces of brass tumbling around, probably make my Lyman 1200 turbo sound quiet. :D

I know a guy that used to throw his watch in with his brass.

You can toss your handguns in that thing.

I wash most of my range pick up brass in a five gallon bucket with some detergent to clean the dirt and it really gets most of the junk off the cases. I used to soak in citric acid and that worked really good to do that before hand so the solution didn't get filled with crud. I use a Dillon media separator and that thing makes a racket loud enough that I use ear plugs when using it. If I setup an additional washer and dryer in the garage I could at least just close the door. I doubt I would bother with media in the washer as I don't see them being able to hold the tiny bits. I process a lot of pistol brass when I get ready to load it up but I'm not sure how much volume I would need to increase before I made this a reality. But it's a neat idea. Maybe for a club it would make more sense.

pair-a-dice

:D:D:D Regardless of where you load it needs to have a lock. A man cave kind of thing. Your on fall out shelter. :D:D:D:D.- A frig & snacks & a tube & tunes & a recliner to rest a while when you load to much. < can u load to much ?> When I got a die-vorce I had plenty of room and met some new friends. Got to go-- Gunsmoke is comin on.

Any place inside the home is better than out side in the winter time................even the basement with a electric heater.

If you can get upstairs in the main house, your hit the jackpot !

If you have a heated, well lighted room to yourself, you hit the mother load !!

When I lived in an apartment I had my Dillon 550 mounted on a rolling tool chest with a reinforced top. The chest held all the tools, dies, powder, and bullets. The whole thing rolled away into a closet when not in use.

Dead simple, stored out of sight, and very space efficient.

/c

If you could find something like this stacked pair it would save space...
