Hi to all reloaders.

I was visiting one of the gunshops in Switzerland, for getting some direct information about the Dillon 650. I looked around while I wait for the
shopowner and see next to the reloading-departement some leftovers,
which can tell some stories, if they can talk...

I asked, if I could use my cellphone-camera....., the owner agreed.

A Manurhin MR93 with a stucked bullet and two more fired rounds..

The 19 is one of thousand which they made, but the precious MR93 really hurts my feelings...

Ouch, they are a reminder to check and double check when reloading.

Well, it looks like creative handloading is alive and well in Switzerland! :D

All I can say is thank God that it was just one S&W. That other monstrosity in the first picture looks like something young boys used to buy at the 5 & dime when I was a lad. They came with a roll of caps, but if the pot metal parts lasted long enough you could buy a three-pack of caps to keep them going until they finally quit. :o :)

One can take a lesson from the S&W: Beware of anyone who would put that kind of mount on a Model 19. Don't stand next to them at the range! And of course the "gunsmithing" at the muzzle is a dead-giveaway as to the type of shooter/handloader at the other end.

I think it's pretty rare to blow a barrel with an overload on a S&W. Cylinder not so much. is that Manurhin a shrouded barrel? It looks mighty thin. If it was this country I would chock it up to the usual
Bullseye double charge.
