I decided to change course slightly on my Cleveland build. I was going to buy a new RPM air gap intake off summit. I noticed that edlebrock performer intake are easy to find new/used everywhere.
I called Compcams (edlebrock) tech line. They guy said that the performer intake will work just fine with my combination of parts. My build will push the intake to its limit but it will work. But my car is not a dedicated race car. So it's just fine. I found a intake used. I bought it. I will receive it in a few days. My build was getting crazy. And I have other parts of my car that needs attention.
I read that the Cleveland had a ram air option. I found that I can get a ram air air cleaner replica off the internet. So I'm going to build it like the ram air set up. I'm going to run the stock exhaust manifolds and valve covers too. The ram air setup will help make up for the power loss.

the Performer RPM is a solid intake... carb tune & cam will make the big difference... besides the real difference between 400 hp & 375 hp is not as great as one might think in reality.. torque is what makes the seat tingle.. low end is where the fun is... over 5000 rpm is nerve wracking with old iron unless you put over 10K into a motor... enjoy

Right now my Torino has a net hp rating of 0. Anything more than that is a improvement I can live with. I should receive my new to me intake Tuesday or Wednesday. I will post pictures. Im about to order parts for my carburetor. Im trying to balance the cost of the rebuild/upgrades for it. I was going to buy a brand new base plate for it. But decided against it because of the cost. The base plate that came off it has some odd arrangement with its vacuum tubes. The original throttle plates are rusted up pretty bad and it's missing it's lever. So I decided to just replace only what's needed.
This carburetor is weird. It's just a 4160 work horse. But I have a soft spot for it for some reason.
Edit: I got a metal lid for its vacuum pod to get rid of its plastic lid. And I found a really good secondary metering block. That will be improvement over its metering plate.

Did some work. I received my used secondary metering block. And painted some parts.
