Hey guys, first time posting on here, so if it's in the wrong spot please feel free to redirect me. Years ago my dad had to sell his customized model 29 to catch up on some bills, and I'm trying to find it to bring it back into the family. It was sold around 2008 in North Charleston, SC.
I have no photos of it, but have quite a bit of details, including the serial which hasn't proven too helpful in tracking it down. It's a model 29(-3?)serial AFJ1276. blued, custom hand-carved rosewood grips (the carving is of Pegasus, the winged horse, I think) an 18oz pull trigger job, fully jeweled, and his initials engraved on the 6in. barrel "GEH."
Any tips on starting the search to find it would be super appreciated, or if there's a way to tell if it's popped up for sale online.
