Traded for an M&P45c on Friday. Got to shoot it a little at the range on Saturday morning. Cleaned her up yesterday.

I have to say that this a sweet little, soft-shooting .45!!

Another fine addition to my S&W collection!

Same here. Picked mine up from a friend on another forum. It feels as if it were made for my hands! Much better than the Glock. I just had the FS M&P 45 worked on, new sights (10-8 rear, red fiber optic front, APEX DCAEK. Really improved it.

Have you guys shot the .40 or the 9mm versions? How much more recoil does the .45 have?

I shoot a 1911 and I have a Kahr mk9 and pm9. Thinking of getting an M&P 9c or 45c. Can't decide.

I have. I own all the calibers except the .357Sig. The M&P 40 was my first. Best shooting .40 I have ever handled. The .45 recoil is very tame. My experience tells me there is very little difference between them. This is just my opinion though.

Congrats, I was equally amazed at the firing sequence of M&P45 when I bought my first. I really expected more recoil/harshness out of a gun that is 10 oz lighter than my 1911's. That low bore axix and fit of the grip really make the gun shine. I was smitten on my first shot. Now I own 3 M&P's :-)
