Trigger pull on Sigam 9mm

Hi guys, it's me again. Sorry but I forgot to mention this in my first post. When my Wife fired my new Sigma 9mm she found that the trigger was a little hard to pull which in turn made her jerk the trigger just before the shot. I also experienced this. My question is Does the trigger get easier to pull after a while or would a gunsmith be able to adjust the trigger pull to make it a little easier to pull. I know this was made this way as a safety feature but it is the first pistol that Ive owned that is set up this way.

The heavy trigger is indeed a feature of the Sigma, but it is NOT a safety feature! The safety for this gun is found between your ears.

OK, lecture over...

But anyway, the trigger can definitely be smoothed out... for FREE!
