Trigger Torsion Spring

I am rebuilding an old 44HE and the internal trigger torsion spring is broken. I assume that its function is to put tension on the hand as it travels thru the hand window to the rachet pads. I can not find a replacement or I am not looking in the right place. As with all old stuff, everytime I figure a problem out something else breaks. Where can I get one??? And am I nameing it correctly. Or do I have to make one? Your assistance appreciated.
