Triggers Again

I know this topic has been beaten petty hard and you all are petty tired of responding to the same question, but I think this one maybe a little different. I am setting up my new Proseries 9mm and have a Apex Competition kit in it. I had the kit in my CORE 40 but moved it over to the 9mm as the 9 is going to be my target gun and the 40 for protection. Here is my question. Is there any advantage to also adding a trigger kit to the 9mm? The comp kit was a great improvement in its self.

Yes! When I did one of my M&P's with Apex kits I did them all...

Dullh the only MP I have that doesn't need a kit is my MP22 and the trigger on it is slick as butter. It starter off a little gritty but smoothed right up. I love shooting it the reset is easy to feel but the only problem is I pop off a lot of rounds in a short time then have to go home at do the yard.

If you haven't put a forward set sear kit in, one piece of advice, DON'T, it will spoil you for any other trigger forever, you will find that you're spending an extra $150 for every gun you own. And even worse is the Flat Faced Forward Set trigger, it's even worse. My name is Gale and I'm an Apex junkie.

Gale all my M&Ps are starting to look like race guns. A Fastfire III on the 22, a UltraDot MatchDot 2 on the 9mm, and a DeltaPoint on the 40 CORE. I love gadgets and have a 4X scope on a removeable rail that I move between MPs to shoot bench rest. You all can give me a hard time but I love to shoot bench rest off my Hyskor rest. Going to buy a Ransom to just work up loads. After I get these triggers done.

No, but I figured out it's almost impossible with a hammer and/or a punch. This is how I do it and it works great. The vice has a smooth flat face, I don't think your standard "diamond" faced vice would work, but you could put smooth jaw faces on it.

Ty, I might just pay my smith to do it at the indoor range I shoot at. I shoot there almost everyday but seldom spend any money there as I print my own targets. Well I have bought 4 guns from them in the last 3 months. The gun of the month club thing I guess.
