Triple Lock

I just finished an article for FIREARMS NEWS on the Triple Lock Target--don't know yet when it will be published--but thought TL fans would be interested to know that Tim Mullin and I shot my 6 1/2" TL Target for the article and it performed really well.

I have a 5" one as well but decided not to shoot it as it is in better condition than my 6 1/2" or 7 1/2" TL Target. Tim Mullin is doing an article on the 5" for the S&W Journal. In re photos I can't post anything from the article due to copyright.

Years ago Bill Powell had a 4" TL Target, the only one I've ever seen, but I never managed to work a deal with him for it.

Is the 5" a target? That barrel length just seems perfect for an N frame. Maybe 4.5" in a Reg Mag. Looking forward to the articles.
