Turkish Contract Model 10 - ** Pictures Added **

Visited the LGS yesterday to pick up a transfer that I had bought from a GB auction, and noticed a very nice looking revolver in the display case. Upon asking to see what caught my eye, was a very nice Model 10-9 3" barrel in blue. Didn't pay it very much attention due the price tag that was attached to the trigger guard! Upon further inspection, the dealer brought out the Jinks letter that was part of the sale! This pistol was part of the "overrun" from a contract with the Turkish Republic Police. The serial number for this pistol is BFR226X.
Even without the box, the price tag was a little steep! So, to keep harmony, I decided to put this pistol on layaway with the dealer.

So, When the layaway gets paid off, I will have pictures of this pistol to share...

Regardless of what it is......it's makes the "pill" go down better when you can get the documentation.

Looks to be in like new condition. Probably better that it stayed in the states, ala no reimport stamps. Obviously someone has had it sitting in the safe all this time. Super nice find. Congrats.
