I'm doing my part.
Scalpers who prey on the needy by hoarding necessities such as medical supplies and fuel of all forms, (food/drink/ammo/etc) creating an artificial shortage, then sell their wares at inflated prices are the lowest form of opportunistic scum in my book, so like heck am I going to contribute to their success in such morally bankrupt business practices.
I am however grateful to them for providing a reminder to always stock up on supplies and store them during times of prosperity in preparation for times of trouble, as their parasitic tendencies to feed off of society when its down, making everything worse in the process at the first sign of weakness serves as a compelling reminder that we should always strive to be strong and self-sufficient so that we don't fall prey to such pathetic creatures who evidently cannot succeed on their own merits so they have to take advantage of the desperation of others to turn a profit as a simple merchant.
Ironically, these guys seem to fancy themselves as shrewd businessmen too, as if it's somehow challenging to turn a profit by selling necessities to desperate people during a shortage, or wealthy people who are willing to overpay for the sake of convenience. Fortunately for them, things have never gotten so desperate that folks haven't completely turned on them...yet.
So yeah, no worries here, they won't make a dime off of me, nor should they from anyone else.
Wait until ammo comes back, as it has already begun to, buy a box of ammo every here and there, maybe one box per paycheck if you can afford to, and I guarantee by the next ammo shortage you won't even feel it.
