This photo tells a story of two cultures. This is/was a co-worker of mine. Jo, she is from Thailand, on a teacher exchange. This was a fun day for her. She had never shot a gun before(Mod. 28-2 with .38 Spl. loads). She loved it! She had also never been in the snow before. She thought that was great as well. Four wheelin' in the snow blastin' with a hog leg. Not much of that in S.E. Asia. What a good kid.

I had a similar gathering with a neighbors family from Holland Saturday. He had been shooting before but not with the assortment we had for him. He really liked the model 29 4". Big grin on his face each time he shot that one.

Nothing like spreading the gospel

The photo was taken some years back, at the top of the Coast Range in Oregon.

I miss Oregon, so many cool places to go shooting.

Its amazing what some cultures can NOT do in their own country, I cannot imagine not being able to carry a weapon to protect myself and my family.

she's pretty and it's good to know she enjoyed herself but i hope she's learned basic safety since that pic was taken, not to put her finger inside the trigger guard until she's ready to shoot.

Good for you both. Where was the pic taken?

Just a few feet in front of the camera. Probably...:D

Gad, I wish I was that close to a babe that cute. Maybe she'll emigrate?

Tell her that I once had a cat named after a Thai queen, Sirikit. Yeah, it was a Siamese, a chocolate point one.
