Logically Blue over Silver makes more sense, but I have a 3904 that came out of SW in 1993 Stainless slide with late night sights over blue frame and there is mention of a 3958 (page 276 of SCSW - none known to exist) that was theoretically Stainless slide over Blue. I thought I had seen another Silver over Blue, but cant recall (5904?).

So far I have compiled a list all Blue over Silver
410 (1999 only)
411 (1996 only)
457 (1997 only)
908 (1997 only)
910 (1995 only)
5903SSV (1990)
5943SSV (1991)
5967
4013 (2001?) (I have a Blue over Silver 4013 VKN marked Colorado State Patrol dated 1999 per SW)
4567
CS40

Interesting Date Response from SW Customer Service on the 2-tone 457s. I picked more or less random SN from my list and added 1 from each of the VKN (3505 at beginning of group) and VYZ (3847 from end of what I thought would be the second group) groups mentioned.
Oddly enough the high VYZ comes back 1996 while the early VKN is 1997.
Even more odd the VZE comes back as 2011 long after the known Zanders and Hill Country Sports pistols.
PS - All verified as Prod Code 130120 which is the 2-tone Product Code associated with the Zanders 2-tones circa 1997.

Over the years I’ve owned 3 different 4567 pistols, now all off to new owners. The first one I bought was a nib I spotted while making arrangements for shipping my dad’s guns to my local shop when he passed in January 1992.

The other two came along with just the pistol. All were fantastic shooters but too big/heavy (compared to my favorite 1911s) for concealed carry purposes for me. Great for range/home defense. If I wasn’t so close to fixed income living I’d consider hunting another one down LOL. Definitely my favorite 3rd gen.

Here are some pics of the above mentioned Model 410.
